Remove Applications from JavaWS Cache

Q

How to remove applications from JavaWS cache? I don't want to use the application any more.

A

There are two ways to remove Java applications from the JavaWS cache:

1. Using Java Control Panel:

  • Run "Control Panel\Programs\Java". You see the Java Control Panel showing up.
  • Click "General" tab and click "View" in the "Temporary Internet Files" section. You see a list of cached applications.
  • Select the application and click the "X" button (remove icon). You see the selected application removed.

2. Using JavaWS command:

fyicenter> javaws -clearcache

All cached applications are removed.
